So what's your work home plan? Are you going to venture in a business? If so, are you going to start your own unique business line or go with an existing model like Avon or Candles? Are are you planning on doing some freelancing: writing, editing, web design, mystery shopping, surveys, and the like? Or do you just want a job from home?

Well whatever plan you choose, make sure you stick to it. Don't give up on following your passions. There are so many options when it comes to working from home. Here are some ideas:

Writing:

Writing has become an extremely popular way to earn some extra income. If you've never thought about writing before, then let's think of it a different way. Think writing a journal, or writing your thoughts down on paper. It can be just this simple or as outlined as writing a magazine spread. It is entirely up to you. Either way, you can get paid for both. You can write for card greeting companies. You can blog on virtually anything that interests you and in time earn profits from it. You can write your own e-book or if you are familiar with a way to learn something you can write a "how-to". You can write articles, reviews, and even get paid to post on forums. That's right. Webmasters will pay from .10-.25 cents or more for people to help bring traffic and post messages on forums.

Sell Your Stuff

If you have not heard about ebay, then you've been in a cave far too long. But the claims of ebay is not overrated, Someone auctioned off a cornflake in the shape of Illinois for over $1300. You can google this to get the facts. Talk about finding ideas to make money. With that being said, you can auction off anything. You can even try amazon and the tons of other auction sites out there that has come out from the ebay craze. You can buy other people's stuff and resell for a higher profit (like from garage sales and such). You can even take other people's stuff and sell it for them. There are stores all over emerging just to do this sort of thing. Why can't you do it as well?

Internet Marketing

Are you good at marketing a product or web advertising? Well there are literally thousands of affiliate programs out there where a company will allow you to share in the revenue of a sale if you have referred a customer. If this is something you are good at, this can prove to be very lucrative. It is important to choose a product you believe in and one others are successful promoting.

Crafts

Are you into crafts such as beading, sewing, or baskets? You can market your own business and earn profit from customers right in your area. You might want to get plugged into groups or clubs in your neighborhood that offers support in that area. That way you can gain skills and build customers.

Pictures

These days, you don't have to become a photographer to make money selling pictures online. There are many sites that will pay for your pictures. You can sell the same photo to hundreds of websites. I'm sure you never knew you had modeling in you. Did you?

Google Maps and Amazon Turk

You can google these to gain more info however for google maps, you can basically take pictures of businesses in your area and earn money. For Amazon Turk, you complete simple tasks for people needing work (answers to questions), or research in a certain area and get paid a certain amount. The payment is not huge. Of course the more tasks you complete, the more your revenue adds up.

Investor

If you already possess a substantial amount of money or know where you can get it, you might want to invest it. This is like playing the lottery but better because your chances of making a return or far greater than scratching a ticket. If you become familiar with the market you can become a day trader, or even flip websites. It's not quite like flipping a house but if you buy a website, you can tweak it, use some strategies for increasing traffic and sell it for an even higher profit. Search around and do some extensive surgery on this topic. Study, Study, Study. The reward is worth the wait to know what you are doing.

Design

Can you design images, t-shirts, ads, draw cartoons or even build websites. You can make a living doing this, once you research and have the keys to know where to begin and effectively target your audience.

Freelance

If you would like to freelance before beginning a business or just choose this option altogether, there are plenty of websites dedicated to helping connect to you companies and independents needing work in an array of areas. You can learn a lot from my mega site www.allfreelancework.com. This site lists hundreds of resources for you in all areas of freelancing. Take your time and don't get overwhelmed.

Contests/Sweepstakes, Survey's, Mystery Shopping, Paid Reviews

I have personally had my hand in all three of the four endeavors listed. They do exist and you can earn money doing them. There are thousands of survey companies out there. The best thing to do is research and decide which one is best. I have used Monsterpayscash and Cashcrate. If you are not familiar with the way this works, I'll explain briefly. Companies such as Vonage, Blockbuster, etc pay big referral fees to get customers from smaller companies (survey companies). These survey companies pay you a certain amount if you decide to register with, we'll call them, "The Big Guys". Most of "The Big Guys" offers trial periods and once you register you are credited a certain amount from the survey companies. You always have the option to cancel within your trial. However you must read the fine print because some of these companies will charge your account before, or place a hold that is charged to you, or even charge you for shipping. All these fees you eat up. It is always best to write down the number associated with canceling before accepting the offer. Also be prepared to wait when canceling. I have waited over an hour to cancel an offer I had accepted. Keep notes and write down your cancel confirmation number.

If you are interested in Mystery Shopping you can search volition.com for companies and search the message board for experiences and contacts with other shoppers. This can be an actual career. You can get certified to become a mystery shopper. When starting though it is really good for extra money. You are paid on a monthly basis. That is the only bummer I had with it. It is also good if you are near a major city. There is lots of work if you are.

Entering contests may or may not be a waste of your time. I have filled out dozens of forms and have not won anything. But others have so it is not a total waste. Just know that time is not something you can win or get back so if you really don't have the time, don't go for it. Your better off getting freebies.

You can offer to review websites can earn a profit. I have not done this so I can not offer advice but I do know you can earn a little cash by doing it.

Virtual Assisting

You can make a career out of this. Virtual Assisting involves every facet of administration without going in the office. It encompasses phone work. clerical duties, and online work at the same time. You can offer anything from building lists to submitting to directories. You can even take classes on this sort of thing. If you already possess office skills, it may be easier to build your market in your own town or even biding from projects as a freelancer to gain some business and referral contacts from clients.

Researching

You can find actual research jobs that will pay you to research a topic. These jobs are hard to come by and do require experience and a degree. However if this is something that interests you, go for it. Advertise on sites offering your services. Research the going rate and since you are starting out, start out small and build from there. With google being the top ranked search engine, many engines are becoming contest and prize friendly in an attempt to earn traffic. Sites like winzy offers chances to win prizes and others even pay you. You can even get hired at Cha Cha as a search guide. If you want more info on this google Cha Cha.

Tech Savvy

If you are good at tech stuff then you can do a host of things. You can host forums, chat servers, answer questions (there are sites that pay for your technical input like support geeks and such...), offer hosted email, install applications for others, provide application testing, load testing, create a domain registrar, etc..

Sell Your Videos

You tube isn't the only way you can get your voice heard. Many people use youtube as a way to grow their business. What is it that you know? Package it up and record it. Offer free sample instruction then promote your site where you can sell your services. You can learn so much on youtube; dance, piano, voice, software programs and more. Locate the successful vids and learn. This will give you ideas on how to put a twist on your business.

Know Techniques

You can start a subscription site or newsletter where you can sell secrets or knowledge about anything to people that are interested such as gardening, quilting, fashion, internet secrets and more.

Paper Recycling

If you've never thought about doing this but it interests you, then check this site out for some basic starter info HERE.

Business

You can always partner up with a business and sell something that you are passionate about. This can prove to be profitable or a waste of time and money depending on the training, the time you put into it, and the manner in which you market the products. Understand that in most cases there is a fee associated with joining a business and and there may be additional fees associated with marketing materials, business cards, fax, scanner, as well as online advertising resources. Start my choosing something that you know you are good at or you can see yourself doing as a career. Research different businesses in that field and even discuss the opportunity with others who have joined or have acquired any experiences from the company, customer or business side of things. Do your homework and make your decisions accordingly.

Job

There are companies that hire you per hour, commission, or work assignment for a completed task or daily work functions. These jobs are everywhere. They are posted on job boards, forums, and the like. Remember to never pay for a job and always get a clear understanding as well as making sure you are qualified for the position posted. Your resume should be top notch because you are not just competing with people in your area, you are competing with people all over the world. Treat this job just as you would an outside job. You can always pay to get job leads from places such as Freelance Job Exchange and Home Jobs For Moms but if you have the time, you can do the searching yourself and find just as many if not more current job listings in your field.

There is so much more you can add to this list, that it's bananas. Just know to never give up. If your day has not arrived yet, mark my words, it's on it's way.
