Job Description
Exciting recruiter position to support multiple foodservice business operations in California and West Coast. Ideal candidate will be able to work from their home office.

You will be responsible for recruiting qualified foodservice management candidates to fill vacancies, current and potential for Compass Group. Establish effective relationships with internal customers, internal associates applying for positions and external candidates. Provide sufficient customer service to internal customers through effective recruitment tools to satisfy open position requirements and potential new business. Maintain network with colleges and associations. Weekly reporting of recruitment activities. Daily duties include: posting advertisements; sourcing, interviewing, screening and presenting potential candidates to hiring managers; following up with candidates and hiring managers; salary negotiations; conducting employment and reference checking; and various other recruiting activities. This position will require minimal travel.


Necessary Ingredients:
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience can substitute for formal education
• 5+ years recruiting experience required
• Previous experience recruiting foodservice professionals
• Prior experience working with a staffing agency or headhunting firm is required
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR and EEOC policies
• Experience working with diversity initiatives
• Excellent phone skills
• Outstanding computer competence to include, Internet, MS Office Products, e-mail functions, "surfing the web", Adobe Reader and knowledgeable of web-based job boards
